Most of America (approx. 75%) is seeing the dream of homeownership slipping farther away. As for wages, what we see now is that there has been almost no movement for the bottom 60%. The consulting is minimal – it is to explain how to use the tool kit and answer any questions. We are always just a phone call away. The tool kit consists of simple spreadsheets, and word documents. Not complicated stuff. You get the bids and material quotes and plug the numbers into the spreadsheet. We supply a full construction schedule and help you get it set up and off you go. You never have to feel alone, we are always available to help.

How much can you save? 15% – 30% or more. Today the average cost of a one of a kind, custom home, using a top notch, quality builder is about $200 per square foot. A 2,000 square foot home costs approximately $400,000 to build. If you “Do it Yourself” you could save $60,000 – $100,000 or more.

Do it Yourself general contracting is for those who have good communication skills, are willing to work, and, if you are handy, some of the work can be self-performed. Finally, it requires a lot of time.
